bicos.net - Day 1

bicos.net: development path

Today I started developing a project focused on general learning in the production of a microsaas. Regardless, it's an idea I'm really into, so I'm kind of excited to see how it works.

Project

I'm using the stack that I liked best, which is nuxt3 together with supabase, as it is very easy and quick to develop. Initially I will only use Google (oauth2) as my provider. I'm reusing a lot of the project I developed in the nuxt course I took in the last few days. This has helped me a lot with all the questions, decisions, things already completed and some future visions about the process as a whole. Therefore, I managed to advance a very good part, missing some small adjustments and a single main screen.

Idea

The project consists of a small catalog for people looking for informal work. Yes... This already exists like GetNinjas and other services out there, however, for now the focus will be on small cities, where some establishments often need people with a certain urgency, ranging from delivery drivers, receptionists to electricians. Therefore, the focus of the application is to be simple and easy to use. Initially I'm thinking about monetizing in some ways like boosting/verifying profiles and in the future I'm thinking about creating a section for establishments, where they can advertise vacancies urgently. Yes, this is a crucial part of the product but I feel that it will be better to develop this when everything is already running (I welcome tips and feedback). In the next few days I intend to upload a v1, but as I mentioned above, I am learning, I am enjoying learning, as it has always been my desire to create my own things and understand the process as a whole.
